Just decided to compare two systems running on my Hackintosh, since Lion occurred to be slower and slower every next day. So, here are the results of different tests:

So, as far as anyone can see – the previous OS from Apple used to be faster than the current one. Looking through news about coming OS from Apple (Mountain Lion) I can see that the coryphaeus are in the rush, so we can hardly reckon on high performance, at least before first minor updates. What about me, I downgraded to SL and not going to update any further.

PS I didn’t run any tests on my Macbook, since it was senseless and evident: as soon as I updated to Lion I experienced lots of lags and much slower functionality than it was with SL. So, I downgraded it too, and heard the exhale of relief from my laptop’s ventilation holes. Good-bye, Lion.
